Cyclists of all abilities are invited to join us for our final Ride + Dine of the 2019 summer season, embarking on a journey from The Little Nell by bike to arrive at a rustic chic setting for an al fresco dinner. This summer’s destination is Mad Dog Ranch in Old Snowmass, formerly owned by musicians Glenn Frey and Jimmy Buffet.
Before departing from the hotel, you will have the opportunity to select wines for dinner from our 20,000-bottle cellar through Little Nell Wine Director Chris Dunaway. From The Little Nell to Mad Dog Ranch, the route descends 15 miles down the Rio Grande Trail alongside breathtaking meadows and the Roaring Fork River. Upon arrival, you’ll be treated to hors d’oeuvres and a farm fresh dinner prepared by element 47 chefs, featuring fresh ingredients from ACES’ Rock Bottom Ranch, and other local and regional purveyors.
